As both a university graduate and a teacher, I have noticed that often the people who want to learn and grow more than anyone else are prevented from doing so. Annoyingly long words and silly ideas about what makes a person smart or capable stand in the way of a brighter future for so many.

Never again do I want to hear someone say, "I'm just not book smart."

People who are "book smart" were not born that way. They learnt the skills and knowledge to become "book smart" from someone else. All anyone needs to follow in the same footsteps, is to have someone teach them those same skills in words that actually make sense.
